My fellow Texas blogger, Lauren over at Lauren from Texas asked for some nomilicious recipes a week or so ago via twitter. Luckily, the above recipe is SO easy that you can almost deliver it in the infamous 140 characters or less so I sent it over to her as quickly as I could. I like to make mine with white chocolate but you can use whatever you’d like!
Head over to her blog to see how they turned out and get other yummy recipes just in time for the holidays.
I thought I would share this super easy, super yummy recipe for ham & swiss pie. I typically don’t like cooking with anything from a box, but hey - A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to feed a hungry husband.
Here’s the low down:
In a skillet combine green bell, raw natural honey, cubed organic ham. Cook until ham is darker and peppers are soft. I like to season this portion with Tony’s, Crushed Red Pepper and cracked black pepper.

Once this is cooked down, turn your oven on 435* and remove the ham from flame. Let cool.
Once cool, combine cubed swiss and ham mixture evenly into pie pan.

In separate bowl, mix the following ingredients:
Pour mixture over ham & swiss into pie pan. Push ingredients down in order to have a layer of bisquick mixture completely covering ham & swiss. (I sprinkle the top with paprika & cayenne, but that’s Bake in preheated oven for 30m minutes or until done. SO GOOD- Not so good for you.
Enjoy!

Somehow I’ve lived in this great city for a few years now and have never met this brilliant gal. Austin’s very own Kayla Kromer made this gorgeous bed and only recently did she sell it on ebay for a fundraiser. (The bed currently lives with its new owner in the Windy City.)
Kayla, I think I’m in love. And I’d also love to take you out for a burger. My treat.
I am SSSOOOO looking forward to this MUCHO needed little get away. At the end of this month we’ve rented a condo on the beach for 4 old gal pals to eat, drink and be merry. We plan on doing nothing but cooking, watching old chick flicks and drinking wine in the hot tub. Sounds like an amazing weekend already.
Dinnah is served. Tonight I made Spinach Cheese Tortellini, NY Strip and Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo. SO good. We have a freezer full of protein so we’ve its been a feast on the daily. (I cheated on some of this and used the pre-made Buitoni pasta. So sue me.)
