- Grand-daughter: "Can I pease have a cookie Memaw?"
- Grandmother: "No sugar you have to wait until after supper."
- Grand-daughter: "PEASE Memaw can I have a cookie?"
- Grandmother: "NO. N-O spells NO!"
- Grand-daughter: "Well then how do you spell PEASE?"
- My mom and Aunt are in town and we sat last night telling stories of all the funny things the grandkids have said over the years. There are oh so many that I just might have to share another soon but for today this one just made me giggle. I would have given her the cookie after that sweet little convo.........
